Lovely holiday cottage, great location and walkable to the beach/shops/takeaways. Great to be able to book neighbouring properties through the same agent, for extended families or friends. Dog friendly and great garden. Plus the sun stayed out all week!

Had a brilliant couple of nights at Mariner’s Moon. Great to have flexible arrival and departure days and such a treat to be able to walk to the (beautiful) beach. The house was clean and comfortable and really well equipped for our needs. Superb location for a getaway but still walkable to a couple of eateries and longer walk (about an hour) into Rye along a pleasant footpath. Pre arrival information extremely helpful and detailed and nice not to have to leaf through a folder on arrival and instead being able to just get on with enjoying the trip. Hosts were on hand if we needed anything but non intrusive. Also a fan of the ‘contactless’ check in because it avoids all the chat about where the light switches are when everyone’s dying for a wee.

We had to smile at the contactless check-in, Leena. Nobody wants a guided tour of the light switches when everyone's dying for a wee! That's just why we send everything ahead, so you can skip the folder and get straight on with enjoying the trip. And it's lovely to hear we were on hand without getting in the way. Lovely Holiday Cottage!

Mariner's Moon is lovely holiday cottage in a great location, being walkable to the vast sandy beach and all of Camber's shops, eateries and takeaways. It was great to be able to book neighbouring properties through the same agent for our extended family. The property was clean, welcoming and dog friendly with a great garden overlooking the fields. A short drive takes you to the lovely Rye, which is worth well more than just one visit. Couldn't have picked better weather too!

Our Stay at Mariners Moon August 2026
The property was a clean, comfortable, and well-equipped home by the seaside, with everything needed for a relaxing break. The setting was peaceful and scenic, surrounded by farm fields where sheep were grazing nearby, adding to the calm countryside atmosphere. A beautiful sandy beach was awaiting just a five-to-ten-minute walk away. The host was helpful, welcoming, and attentive, making the stay feel easy and enjoyable. Overall, it was a relaxing, enjoyable stay and recommended for a countryside and seaside break.
