As a place for our family get together to celebrate our parents 80th birthday it was great. No complaints, it was a lovely place, plenty of space for everyone.
The pool, sauna, and hot tub were a great hit.
We have started planning for a possible return, too.

We couldn’t have loved this property more. It was better than we had expected! A huge space, with very comfortable beds, it was the perfect place to host a birthday weekend for 12 of us. It can sleep many more which we are already considering as a trip with our families!
Heated pool, hot tub and sauna were perfect! Just what we all needed. There was plenty of everything and the hosts were so responsive to any minor issues we had (couldn’t find a certain switch etc - nothing to actually do with property itself). Thank you all so much and we will most certainly be back!!

We stayed at Upton Bourn Lodge for my friends hen do for 3 nights during an unseasonably warm October weekend and had a wonderful time! The lodge and amenities were perfect for our big group and we made the most of the wonderful private pool, hot tub and sauna.
Gill and George were always so responsive via message and attentive which made all the difference with feeling at home at the lodge. The rooms were comfortable and clean with plenty of fresh towels and linen for our group.
We had local recommendations for massages at the lodge, a local Sunday roast and take away pizza.
This space is perfect for time away with friends or family and would highly recommend!
