A lovely cottage, in a beautiful location. Clean and well kept. We used it as our base to attend a friends wedding. Plenty of space for everyone, lots of bathrooms! It was the perfect place to stay.

We had a great stay. The house was really clean, very well equipped and very private in a lovely location. Andrew was very responsive and helpful. We also really appreciated the welcome gifts. Would definitely stay there again.

We have just had a very enjoyable short week (Mon-Fri) at Orchard Cottage - with it's wonderful walled garden. 4 of us stayed. The downstairs bedroom with ensuite was very welcomed due to mobility problems.
The cottage was well supplied with lots of amenities (many of which we didn't use). Very impressive was the volume of information supplied about the cottage in advance (via a link to web pages) - whilst I personally would have preferred the information in hard copies I fully understand the convenience of being able to update a website.
As others have mentioned, there is traffic noise that can be heard from the A23 close by - but this didn't stop us enjoying relaxed breakfast on the patio or have any negative impact on our stay. One advantage of the close roads was the convenience of visiting local National Trust properties.
Overall, this was a lovely cottage, in wonderful surroundings - I would not hesitate in recommending staying here if you are considering it.
