Firstly this apartment was clean, tidy, excellent location with friendly local neighbours. We loved our time here and we loved Italy. I would recommend to anybody visiting Rome to stay here, so long as everything is working as it should.
This place would have had 5 stars (I genuinely feel guilty leaving 3 stars) if the toilet worked properly for the whole duration.
The first evening we arrived flushed the toilet and the water would not stop running. The toilet was behind the bed so we struggled to sleep listening to the running water all night. Next problem - as the toilet was slowly running water we could not flush number 2’s away so had to improvise by pouring a large pan of water down the toilet. Lorenzo was slow to respond at first and said it was a ‘common problem in Italy’.
Second night had to listen to water all night again.
After pestering him all the next day it was sorted by the third night. I was offered a €70 euro refund but I’m still yet to receive it.
